Si570 - 12F683 HEX eeprom file modification
For Firmware 2.4
Make a list of the frequencies. Up to 16 freq. allowed.
Calculate 4* frequency and write that into the second column.
Example:
0 3.985 15.94
1 3.955 15.82
2 6.085 24.34
3 6.075 24.30
Find the program "Si520 Calc in out.exe" in the yahoogroups file section
here
Calculate the HEX valuse for each 4*frequency with the program.
After entering the 4*frequency you will see something like this:

Write the values marked with a red circle into your list
Example:
0 3.985 15.94 A8 42 AA DF B5 D0
1 3.955 15.82 E6 C2 AA 29 A4 51
2 6.085 24.34 29 C2 A9 86 35 DF
3 6.075 24.30 29 C2 A8 67 7D 18
Now regroup the 6 hex values into groups of 8.

Now you can start your pic programmer and modify the data/eeprom values according to the table above.
Example here shows the WinPic Programmer Software
First press the read pic button

Before changing anything back up your current pic program and data values. If you mess up you can restore this dump.

Then change to the data tab and edit the data values according to your table. If WinPic doesent want to edit press space bar.

Then write back the values to the Pic

Good Luck !
If you want to experiment with PIC assembler yourself or control the frequency with a standard com-port
Try This
RX Example
Softrock rx6.1 with xtall receiving RTL DRM transmission on 6.095 mhz. No sdr-program is needed for this, only the free DREAM drm software. Use "start Dream.exe -c 4" to enable dream's sdr mode, or use
this .bat file.
btw, sounds great, listen here !
